Game cards based on the actual Lego Creationary game. Colours or coloured images to be stuck onto a 6 sided die. Roll the die to choose a category, pick up a game card and turn the timer to create your model. Other players to guess what your model is. x2 is double points if the model is guessed correctly. ? means the player can choose any of the images on their card. Each time a model is guessed correctly, you get a piece of your favourite colour Lego. Winner is the first to build a tower of 10 pieces.

Topic planner mindmap to outline mini topic content. Some ideas are adult-led and some child initiated, although this is not indicated here. Hope my plans are of use to others. Happy New Year xx

A Diwali-themed quotation from the Buddha. Encouraging teamwork, and also introduces the Hindu concept of Karma. 'If you light a lamp for somebody, it will also brighten your path.' Links in with diwa lamps and the Diwali story of Rama and Sita.
